Rachel Xie

Rachel Xie is currently an MA student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. Her research interests center on culture, cognition, and emotions, particularly how people make sense of their social worlds and express emotions within different cultural contexts. Her previous research explored intergenerational expressions of love and affection, and she has experience with qualitative methods such as in-depth interviews, ethnography, and content analysis.
